Overview

The Stock Handler I is an entry-level position that pulls, transfers, counts, organizes, and stores stock or parts in our warehouse departments. The role may operate Power Industrial Truck (PIT) vehicles to route parts and finished goods, working directly with various manufacturing areas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather parts/stock according to department‑specific processes, pulling and routing them to designated manufacturing areas safely while maintaining quality and on‑time delivery.
• Maintain organization and accuracy of the work area by following procedures for staging in‑process work and supplies, stock rotation, allocation of storage space, ERP transaction sequence, and housekeeping.
• Pull, monitor, and restock specified parts using material handling techniques including pallet jacks and PIT vehicles.
• Follow all safety guidelines and avoid posing a risk to self or others.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills to accurately measure and calculate quantities of parts/stock.
• Ability to identify part numbers and/or descriptions.
• Proficient reading, writing, and oral communication in English, following written and oral instructions.
• Ability to learn to operate motorized material handling vehicles through PIT training and to use tools and equipment such as counting scales, computer scanners, and hand tools.
• Capability to learn and use the ERP system to account for and transfer parts and stock.

Education and Experience

No previous warehouse experience required.

Additional Requirements

A background check and drug screening are required.
