Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in Paramus, New Jersey is seeking a Stocker to provide prompt, friendly customer service, stock shelves and maintain clean aisles on the Floor team.

You will rotate merchandise to prevent expiration, front-face items, assist with inventory reviews, ensure shelf pricing reflects current market conditions, and help maintain safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced retail environment. Steel-toe boots are required and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.
• Rotates merchandise to prevent expiration on shelves.
• Organizes and front faces items on shelves.
• Performs inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Assists in inventory review to prevent shrinkage and damages.
• Ensures shelf pricing is accurate and reflects current prices.
• Maintains cleanliness with regular cleaning of floor and pallets.
• Handles spills safely and removes trash from floor promptly.
• Notifies supervisors of low stock or out-of-stock items.
• Performs other duties as required and may work in other departments.
