Parts Authority LLC. is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Bohemia, NY. This role involves receiving, organizing, and stocking automotive parts, with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will be part of a growing team offering opportunities for advancement and a strong benefits package. This position requires full-time availability and the ability to work various shifts as needed.

Qualificações

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• 1–2 years stocking experience preferred.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards per department requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Receive merchandise from vendors or other stores and place it in the correct location.
• Check off merchandise as received and verify counts.
• Correct errors found on inventory count sheets.
• Assist in pulling parts during peak times and help stock management address issues.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, inside and outside.
• Collaborate with stock manager to resolve stocking problems and disruptions.
• Handle miscellaneous projects and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves
• Check off merchandise as received
• Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet
• Assist in pulling parts during busy times
• Clean up inside/outside the warehouse
• Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders
• Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked
• Miscellaneous projects
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Time management skills
• Able to work well under pressure
• Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
• Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.
• 1-2 years stocking experience preferred.
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
• Maintain and promote workplace safety
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
