This role serves as the primary connection between site leadership, operations, maintenance, engineering, and the central STO organization, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and schedule-compliant execution of Shutdowns, Turnarounds, and Outages throughout the region.

The Regional Turnaround Manager drives standardization, scope discipline, risk mitigation, workforce readiness, and continuous improvement across multiple facilities to improve STO performance and strengthen safety and operational excellence. This role is expected to spend significant time traveling to sites to support STO readiness, active event execution, field assessments, and post-event reviews.

Work schedule: Standard business hours; however flexibility will be required during active shutdown events including extended hours and weekends during execution windows.

Frequent travel is required to support multiple North American sites (including Canada) before, during, and after STO events. The role is expected to spend a significant portion of time at operating locations to support readiness reviews, field execution, stakeholder alignment, and post-event improvement efforts.

This role is a remote position. Candidates must reside within the US and be near a W.R. Grace location.

  • Ensure STO scopes are well-defined, justified, prioritized, and aligned with business needs across the region
  • Verify that materials, contractor resources, logistics, and critical preparations are in place prior to execution
  • Partner with site Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Reliability leaders to confirm shutdown readiness, isolation planning, and startup preparation
