Job summary

Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) to join our caregiving team in delivering essential resident care on-site in Ohio. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, report changes to nurses, and help ensure safety during transfers and mobility tasks.

You will maintain clean, organized living areas, support residents with meals, and follow infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Current State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) certification in Ohio.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents and families.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring and respectful environment.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional well‑being, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
