Job summary

Relavix Health Group in Athens, OH is hiring State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) for day and night shifts. You will provide patient-centered support, assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and work closely with nurses to ensure residents’ comfort and dignity.

Applicants should be a licensed STNA with a nursing assistant program completion. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a care-driven environment that values compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Licensed STNA with active certification.
• Experience as STNA preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

If caring is your superpower, we have a team that needs you- join Kimes Nursing and Rehab as a STNA. We are seekingcompassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs)to join our healthcare team for day shift (6a-6p) and night shift (6p-6a). The STNAs play a vital role on our care team by providing empathetic, patient-centered, hands-on support that helps residents maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life. STNAs work closely with nurses and other team members to assist residents with daily activities, monitor their well-being, and create a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Provide support to nursing staff by preparing equipment and assisting with medical procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by adhering to infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Support patients with disabilities by providing tailored assistance to enhance their quality of life

Qualifications

• Licensed STNA
• Previous experience as a STNA preferred
• Knowledge of geriatrics, medical-surgical care, physiology, and hospice care is highly desirable
• Ability to work effectively with individuals living in a SNU/SNF
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients
