Job summary

Moss is seeking a Stitcher to sew projects with precision in a fast-paced environment. You will read and interpret cut sheets, use rulers, and match graphics during sewing to ensure top quality for Moss fabrics and materials.

The role requires you to stand long hours, follow instructions, and work with deadlines while maintaining safety and cleanliness on the stitching floor. Earn $19.00-$26.00 per hour DOE with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Well versed in technical/functional areas
• Efficient with stitching, machining, customer service, computers
• Reads and understands work orders, cut sheets, CAD drawings
• Accurately measures, cuts and sews Moss fabrics and materials
• Knows fabrication standards and how to apply them
• Operates Stitching floor machines efficiently
• Performs basic sewing machine maintenance
• Uses cut-sheets to cut out graphics and match graphics when sewing
• Allocates raw materials before removing them
• Meets deadlines with high quality results
• Keeps area clean and organized
• Willing to cross-train and communicate clearly

Responsibilities

• Sit or stand 8 to 10 hours per day
• Read instructions, rulers, and spot flaws
• Lift up to 50 lbs and move items as needed
• Read/write/speak English
• Read rulers with precision (1/16”) and use squares
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Cut and sew projects accurately
• Follow sewing instructions and procedures
• Check work before passing to next step
