Job Summary

Open-Source Analyst in the Global Open-Source Threat Network Disruption Cell (GOST Cell) within HII’s Mission Technologies division. The role focuses on utilizing publicly available information (PAI) and non-traditional intelligence methods to provide insight into counter exploitation efforts and support client priorities.

Security Clearance

Requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Explore new data sources, create effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources to provide insight into counter exploitation efforts.
• Fuse multidiscipline and disparate data sources to deliver accurate and timely geospatial and human network analysis.
• Utilize industry data to identify threat networks, persons of interest, and locations of interest.
• Provide analysis and assessments of commercially available and open-source data, with a focus on geospatial data, to deliver actionable intelligence reports.
• Search for and use available web content and social media to create new OSINT and PAI tradecraft documents and workflows.
• Implement quality assurance and quality control measures into the intelligence production cycle.
• Apply expertise in operations, intelligence, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and collections to enhance client mission‑focused priority areas.
• Provide technical analysis and collection support to OSINT workflows to maximize effectiveness.
• Deliver and present information briefings to support customer requirements.
• Serve as an RFS integrator by reviewing, validating, and coordinating Request for Services submissions, ensuring accurate scoping, proper routing, and timely completion across intelligence workflows.
• Translate customer RFS requirements into actionable OSINT collection and analytic tasks, maintaining clear communication and alignment with mission priorities.

Qualifications

• Level 3: 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelors in a related field; or 3 years relevant experience with a Masters; or 0 years relevant experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or High School Diploma and 9 years relevant experience.
• Level 4: 9 years relevant experience with a Bachelors; or 7 years relevant experience with a Masters; or 4 years relevant experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or High School Diploma and 13 years relevant experience.
• Level 5: 15 years relevant experience with a Bachelors; or 13 years relevant experience with a Masters; or 10 years relevant experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or High School Diploma and 19 years relevant experience.
• Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with the all‑source intelligence analysis and production lifecycle.
• Experience with advanced OSINT search techniques, data visualization methodologies, pattern‑of‑life analysis, and information databases.
• Knowledge of national and service‑specific OSINT policies and regulations.

Preferred Attributes

• Senior Level: BA/BS in related intelligence, scientific, or data literacy field + at least 10 years of applicable experience.
• Journeyman Level: BA/BS in related field + 5‑9 years of applicable experience.
• Junior Level: BA/BS in related field + 3‑5 years of applicable experience.
• OSINT Analytic Tradecraft & Illicit Network Discovery: Proven ability to fuse OSINT with multi‑INT insights to map and characterize criminal, narcotics, and threat‑finance networks, producing actionable intelligence.
• Regional Expertise & Cross‑COCOM Operational Understanding: Direct familiarity with USSOUTHCOM and other Geographic Combatant Command operational constructs.
• Interagency OSINT Coordination: Experience collaborating with DASW‑CN, JIATF‑South, Treasury‑linked analytical elements, and other interagency partners.
• Ops and ISR Tasking‑to‑Reporting Alignment: Ability to convert strategic intelligence requirements into targeted OSINT collection and analytic plans.
• Technology Fluency & Workflow Adaptability: Comfortable operating within evolving analytical platforms and automation‑assisted OSINT tools.
• Advisory‑Level Analytic Judgment: Mature, mission‑focused judgment suitable for engaging government leadership.
• Experience supporting Request for Services (RFS) processes by coordinating requirements, validating task alignment, managing workflow integration, and ensuring timely, accurate routing.
• Ability to translate customer requests into actionable OSINT and multi‑INT tasks, maintain transparency, and track deliverables to completion.

Physical Requirements

The role may require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Candidates must be capable of climbing ladders, tolerating confined spaces, and enduring extreme temperature variances.
