Job Title: Experienced Viking Masek Stick Packing Machine Operator
Location: Bethlehem, PA

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Viking Masek Stick Packing Machine Operator to join our enthusiastic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise to keep machines running, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring top-quality production. This role offers a competitive sign-on bonus and relocation expense coverage for qualified candidates.

Our facility is conveniently located just 1 hour from Philadelphia and 1.5 hours from New York City, offering easy access to major metropolitan areas.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain Viking Masek Vertical Form, Fill, and Seal (VFFS) stick packaging machines.
2. Monitor product quality and perform regular quality checks to ensure adherence to company standards.
3. Provide accurate and timely production progress reports to shift supervisor.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
5. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and procedures.
6. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
7. Lead and mentor team members in a production environment when required.

Qualifications:

1. At least 3+ years of experience operating and maintaining VFFS stick pack machines, preferably Viking Masek equipment.
2. High mechanical and technical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
3. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
4. High attention to detail to ensure precision and quality in all aspects of production.
5. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and leadership effectively.
6. Experience in a team lead position is preferred.
