Job description

We’re supporting a major enterprise initiative and looking for an experienced Stibo STEP Solutions Architect to lead technical design and development efforts for a large-scale MDM environment. This role centers on translating complex business processes into scalable STEP solutions and guiding the overall architecture of the platform.

What You’ll Do

• Lead scoping sessions, planning discussions, and technical design workshops.
• Own solution architecture: write, review, and approve solution designs and technical specifications.
• Translate business requirements into STEP configurations and technology components.
• Apply best practices for integrations, APIs, business rules, and overall solution governance.
• Drive process improvements and champion good practices across the implementation.
• Manage and build data mappings between STEP and integration layers (ETL/ESB, XML, STEPXML).
• Develop complex business rules for pre/post processing and application workflows; perform code reviews.
• Partner with system administrators to troubleshoot platform, solution, and performance issues.
• Apply multi-domain MDM concepts and understand relationships across data sources and data structures.
• Design and model taxonomies, metadata, and data relationships.
• Work with modern integration technologies, data mapping strategies, and API-driven processes.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Operate within an agile environment and support streamlined development practices.
• Bring prior STEP experience from previous implementations.
• Workflow and UI configuration experience within STEP.
