Job description

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The OCP Stewardship Programs and Services Manager will be responsible for managing and executing OCP's stewardship formation programs and services through Corresponsables de Dios (CDD). The position will coordinate and facilitate Stewardship Enhancement Initiatives and other stewardship services with parishes and dioceses, including preparation, leadership formation, implementation, evaluation and follow-up. This role will maintain and develop relationships with pastors, diocesan leaders, parish staff and ministry leaders and will support the Director in strengthening programs and identifying new opportunities for sustainable growth. Because CDD has particular expertise serving Hispanic-Latino Catholic communities, this position requires strong bilingual, bicultural and intercultural competency and the ability to facilitate programs effectively in English and Spanish.

  • Facilitate stewardship presentations, workshops, consultations, leadership trainings and other formation experiences in English and Spanish.
  • Accompany pastors, parish staff, ministry leaders and volunteers in developing stewardship practices that strengthen discipleship, participation, generosity and parish mission.
  • Manage multiple stewardship projects, including calendars, deliverables, materials, communications, travel, client relationships and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the Director to strengthen OCP's stewardship programs, resources, implementation processes and opportunities for growth.
  • Identify parish and diocesan needs and support proposals, scopes of work, presentations and agreements for prospective clients.
  • Develop and track measures of program participation, effectiveness, client satisfaction, financial sustainability and impact.
  • Support the recruitment, training and coordination of stewardship consultants and collaborate across OCP to execute programs successfully.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Director with research and assessment of stewardship, development, fundraising, parish and diocesan needs.
  • Develop and maintain program materials, training resources, presentations and implementation tools.
  • Support program budgets, financial tracking, pricing and cost-recovery strategies.
  • Participate in planning and implementation of grant-funded and large-scale diocesan stewardship initiatives.

  • Represent OCP at appropriate conferences and events; regular travel and evening/weekend work may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Five to ten years of related experience in nonprofit administration, fundraising/development, philanthropy, Catholic ministry, stewardship, parish or diocesan leadership, program management or a related area.
  • Bilingual and biliterate (Spanish and English) - strong written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Intercultural competency, particularly within Hispanic-Latino Catholic and multicultural pastoral environments, with demonstrated experience working with Hispanic-Latino communities.
  • Strong knowledge of Catholic Church structure, parish and diocesan ministry, and the principles of Catholic stewardship.
  • Knowledge and experience in fundraising, philanthropy, development, donor engagement or nonprofit advancement.
  • Strong pastoral and relational skills and ability to accompany and inspire pastors, ministry leaders, volunteers and parish communities.
