Job summary

Levy Sector at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee stewarding operations, ensure safety and sanitation, and lead a dedicated team during daily shifts.

As a supervisor, you will schedule, direct, and review waste collection, monitor equipment, and maintain records while upholding company standards and guest satisfaction.

• Schedules and supervises collection, removal and disposal of refuse and waste.

• Performs field inspections and ensures proper use of cleaning chemicals per MSDS/SDS.
• Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment per sanitation and safety standards.
• Prepares and submits maintenance, accident and other reports to supervisor.

Job Summary

Supervises, coordinates and controls stewarding operations, including collection, removal and disposal of refuse and waste, while ensuring associates follow safety, sanitation, operational and company standards. Provides shift leadership, supports efficient daily execution and helps maintain a clean, organized and compliant work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Leadership and Supervision
• Schedules and supervises the daily collection, removal and disposal of refuse and waste.
• Oversees associates during assigned shifts and provides direction to ensure duties are completed safely, efficiently and professionally.
• Ensures associates arrive at their scheduled time and follow assigned shift expectations.
• Safety, Sanitation and Compliance
• Performs field inspections to ensure collection and stewarding duties are completed safely and efficiently.
• Identifies and uses cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and applicable MSDS/SDS sheets.
• Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment in accordance with sanitation, safety and company standards.
• Equipment, Records and Reporting
• Monitors and inspects the repair and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Prepares required status, maintenance, accident, injury and other reports; submits reports to supervisor.
• Maintains appropriate office records and files.
• Guest, Customer and Team Relations
• Investigates and responds to customer complaints promptly, professionally and tactfully.
• Maintains positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers, vendors and customers.
• Company Standards and General Responsibilities
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures, including safety standards, scheduled arrival times and Company appearance standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
