Restaurant Associates in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a full-time Steward/Kitchen Prep to support kitchen operations at the TD Bank location. The role requires prior dishwashing or kitchen prep experience and offers a schedule Monday through Friday with varying hours.

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. The position emphasizes adherence to HACCP guidelines, sanitation standards, and the accurate handling of production sheets and logs.

Responsabilidades

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Operates dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage to designated containers.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other equipment.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas with safe lifting.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup as requested.
• Assists with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Requirement: Previous dishwashing or kitchen preparation experience is required.
• • Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
  • Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
  • Stores, labels, and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
  • Completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as required.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
  • Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Summary: Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
