Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all kitchen areas at our Chandler, OK location. You will degrease, clean, polish and sanitize hood systems, equipment, work surfaces and floors while following Health Department standards.

The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts including holidays, nights, weekends and overtime as needed. Adherence to company policies and the EGE initiative is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Maintains sanitation levels according to Health Department standards.
• Follows the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy on the floor.
• Regular attendance as per guidelines and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Degreases, cleans and polishes the kitchen hoods.
• Wipes down all walls & doors.
• Cleans grease build up behind all equipment.
• Cleans and degreases all pipes.
• Polishes all outsides of refrigerators.
• Cleans and polishes tables, counters, shelves, steam tables and hand sinks.
• Cleans and degreases grills, stoves, fryers, broilers, burners, ovens, filters, flat tops and all prep areas.
• Cleans all air vents, ventilation hoods, ice machines, and air conditioning registers.
• Cleans and degreases all rubber matting
• Removes all garbage, washes trash cans and replace liners.
• Sweeps floors to remove any gum or substances.
• Soak floors with degreaser.
• Use floor cleaning machine to scrub kitchen floors.
• Cleans drains and pours enzyme into drains.
• Cleans food serving areas including counters, floors, food trays, food carts and kitchen equipment.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes including china, plates, flatware, utensils, pots and pans, etc. either by hand or by using dishwasher machinery.
• Cleans and stocks supplies such as plates, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensil items.
• Replenishes all non food items as needed.
• Lifts bus tubs to bus carts and pushes carts to the Kitchen.
• Removes trash from kitchen areas and places in dumpster.
• Break down empty boxes from kitchen areas and places in dumpster.
• Maintains the proper level of sanitation in accordance with Health Department and Stewarding standards in all kitchen outlets.
• Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen equipment in a safe manner.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
• All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily.
• Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
