Valor is seeking a dedicated dishwashing professional to maintain cleanliness of the dish room and kitchen areas in a fast-paced hotel setting. You will operate dishwashing equipment, load and unload racks, and assist with daily cleaning duties to ensure sanitation standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must have vision to see minute objects at arm’s length and read meters/controls.
• Finger, hand and upper body dexterity to handle dishes and heavy racks.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions or instruction by example.

Responsibilities

• Gather dirty dishware from tubs and process for washing.
• Load and unload dishwashing racks and ensure proper placement.
• Operate automatic dishwashing equipment and monitor chemical dispensers.
• Manually scrub pots and pans and polish silverware and kitchenware.
• Maintain dishwashing equipment and keep dishroom clean and sanitary.
• Sweep, mop, and organize kitchen areas and trash areas.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
