Job summary

Grand Hyatt Kauai is seeking a Steward/Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of china, silverware, cookware and assist in the kitchen. The role requires ability to lift and move heavy items and to communicate effectively in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Typical compensation includes an hourly rate with a 90-day probation at $25.80/hour and standard hourly rate of $30.35/hour, with benefits including insurance options and paid time off.

Responsibilities

A Steward or Dishwasher is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, cookware as well as kitchens. This person must have good communication skills and have the ability to lift, pull and push moderate to heavy amounts of weight. This is a fast paced position.

90‑Day Probationary Rate: $25.80 per hour. Hourly Rate: $30.35 per hour.
