Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Dishwasher/ Steward to maintain cleanliness of all china, glassware, and utensils while supporting safe, organized kitchen operations.

Work with a collaborative team, follow sanitation standards, assist with inventory, and help ensure timely service. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; hotel/restaurant experience preferred.
• Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards in food service.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all china, glassware, and silverware, ensuring they meet sanitation standards.
• Assist kitchen staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, storage areas, and all equipment.
• Clean and sanitize all utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment regularly.
• Support proper food storage and rotation to ensure freshness and safety.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist with inventory management and report any damaged or missing items.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
