Choice Hotels International, a leading lodging franchisor, is seeking a Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness and sanitization across outlets, kitchen, and equipment. You will manage setup and takedown of select kitchen and outlet areas while supporting a flexible full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and implementation of business strategies for the hotel aligned with Radisson mission, vision, values, and strategies.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for cafeteria and Food and Beverage Department.
• Ensures proper cleaning of floors and work surfaces daily.
• Monitors supply of clean dishware, glassware, pots and pans.
• Takes steps to ensure kitchen and restaurant have needed supplies.
• Checks cleaning equipment daily and reports problems to maintenance for repair.
• Creates 100% guest satisfaction by delivering the Radisson experience and genuine hospitality.

Position Summary

The role of the Steward is to maintain the cleanliness and sanitization of all food and beverage outlets, kitchen, dinnerware, and food and beverage equipment. Manages setup and takedown of select kitchen and outlet areas.

The Kitchen Steward is a back of house all-star who maintains the cleanliness and sanitization of all food and beverage outlets, kitchen, dinnerware, and food and beverage equipment. Manages setup and takedown of select kitchen and outlet areas.

SHIFT:

Full-Time | 30-40 Hours per Week | Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years of age, or older

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Long hours are sometimes required, ability to work flexible schedule

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, frequent bending, occasionally stoop or crawl

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and push or pull up to 150 pounds
