Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking an on-site kitchen/utility worker in Milwaukee to maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment. You will sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and surfaces, operate dishwashers and other large machines, and assist with setup and delivery of supplies.

The role requires adherence to safety and sanitation standards and a team-oriented approach to support front-of-house and banquet activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must follow sanitation and safety requirements.
• Ability to operate large kitchen equipment as listed in duties.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivering supplies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup as requested.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas following safe lifting standards.
• Complies with all sanitation and safety requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
