PENN Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Kitchen/Utility Worker in Council Bluffs. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, maintain kitchen hygiene, and support kitchen staff with supplies and equipment handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiar with cleaning solutions and kitchen equipment.

• Ability to understand product labeling to apply cleaners safely.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with teammates.
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and fluctuating days off.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily cleaning projects as directed by supervisors.
• Clean and mop kitchen floors and mats; clean behind and under equipment.
• Maintain hood vent system and ovens.
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.
• Ensure proper storage of all equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Ensure proper use of equipment; report malfunctions promptly.
• Assist kitchen utility personnel and other outlets with cleaning/restocking.
• Adhere to cleanliness and safety standards set by the Health Department and OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning projects as directed by supervisors.
• Cleans all floor mats; sweeps and mops all kitchen floors to remove food, debris, and grease; cleans behind and under all equipment.
• Maintains hood vent system and ovens.
• Maintains adequate inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.
• Responsible for proper storage of all equipment (e.g. china, glass, silver, cooking equipment, and utensils).
• Ensures kitchen workers have and use the proper equipment necessary for the job (e.g. gloves, goggles, cleaning solutions, etc.).
• Ensures that all equipment functions properly, reports malfunctions promptly.
• Assists kitchen utility personnel with duties as directed by supervisor.
• Assists other outlets with cleaning projects or restocking supplies.
• Responsible for organization and proper storage of cleaning solutions and supplies.
• Maintains the levels and standards of cleanliness and safety set by the company, the Health Department, and OSHA.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiar with the handling of cleaning solutions and compounds; familiar with cleaning all types of kitchen equipment.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to comprehend product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and fluctuating days off.
