Job summary

Northrop & Johnson is seeking a Deck/Stew for a brand new 47m private/charter yacht based in Fort Lauderdale. This dual-role position involves duties across both deck and interior teams, with emphasis on hands-on work and a proactive attitude to learn and contribute daily.

Candidates should be willing to work across departments, be adaptable to a busy private/charter environment, and have or be able to obtain travel rights to cover Schengen-area requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous yacht experience preferred but not essential
• Strong interest in both deck and interior duties essential
• Must hold valid travel rights (Schengen visa or right to travel)

Responsibilities

• Assist with washdowns, tender operations, guest setups and daily service
• Support housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in both sides of yachting, willing to work hard, and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.Competent green candidates will be considered, provided they have a fantastic work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to hit the ground running.
