Job summary

Paradigm Oral Health in Huntsville, AL is seeking a dedicated Sterilization Technician to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in our in-office practice. You will manage decontamination, packaging, and preparation of instruments for procedures, ensuring safety and patient care are at the forefront.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, at least one year of relevant experience, and certification in Sterile Processing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect used/contaminated equipment for sorting and decontamination.
• Manually clean supplies of contaminants.
• Operate and maintain decontamination equipment.
• Prepare and package decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
• Examine supplies to ensure they are clean and sanitized.
• Routinely test and report issues with sterilization equipment.
• Sterilize, prep, wrap, and organize equipment into trays for procedures.
• Prepare and deliver equipment and instruments for procedures.
• Maintain records of sterilization procedures and inventory.
• Monitor inventory and supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
