Mortenson Dental Partners is seeking a dedicated Sterilization Technician in Crestwood, KY. The role is full-time with a 32-hour work week and compensation up to $20 per hour based on experience.

Primary duties include decontaminating and sterilizing instruments, assembling trays, and maintaining sterile processing areas. The position requires a High School Diploma with vaccinations (Hep B and Tetanus) and offers benefits after initial employment period.

Responsabilidades

• Decontaminate and sterilize instruments, medical supplies, and equipment.
• Assemble, wrap, and sterilize trays of instruments.
• Follow sterilization precautions while decontaminating.
• Monitor wash solutions to ensure quality for decontamination of instruments and equipment.
• Perform environmental maintenance and keep thorough logs.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels in sterile processing and equipment storage.
• Verify equipment functions properly and requisition maintenance or replacement when needed.
• Perform weekly spore testing and maintain results logs.
• Perform weekly and monthly maintenance of Autoclave and Statim.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Decontaminate and sterilize instruments, medical supplies, and equipment.
• Assemble, wrap, and sterilize trays of instruments.
• Follow sterilization precautions while decontaminating.
• Monitor biological and chemical wash solutions to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and medical equipment.
• Perform environmental maintenance duties and maintain logs in a thorough manner.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels in sterile processing and equipment storage areas.
• Verify that equipment functions properly, requisitions for equipment maintenance, repair, or replacement, and removes defective equipment when needed.
• Perform weekly spore testing and maintain a log of the results.
• Perform weekly and monthly maintenance of Autoclave and Statim.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma
• Hep B Vaccination
• Tetanus Vaccination

DESIRABLES
