Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is seeking a dedicated Sterilization Technician to join our growing ASC network in Orlando, FL. In this role you will clean, package, sterilize, and store supplies and instruments, while maintaining strict compliance with sterilization policies and regulations.

You should have current BLS certification, an understanding of sterilization principles, and experience in central processing.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required.
• Understanding of sterilization principles required.
• Experience in central processing functions preferred.
• Ability to move quickly in response to physician and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store supplies, instruments, and equipment in the correct places per regulations.
• Adhere to sterilization processes, policies, and procedures.
• Correctly operate sterilizer, ultrasonic washers, and other equipment for processing items.
• Maintain inventory levels and accurate records.

• Occasional overhead and low reaching, as well as bending
