A healthcare provider in Vermont is seeking Full-Time Experienced or Certified SPD/CSR Tech candidates. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient management of surgical supplies and instruments across the hospital. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and strong communication abilities. The position offers a competitive pay range of $22.28–$35.10 per hour, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and various shifts with opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• SPD Technician certification (CRCST) preferred; must be achieved within 12 months.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of microbiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and clean instruments with bioburden using full PPE.
• Inspect, assemble, and package surgical sets.
• Operate washers, sterilizers, and other SPD equipment.
• Deliver sterilized instruments to ORs, clinics, or storage.
• Maintain inventory and support process improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize instruments
• Operate autoclaves and washer/disinfectors
• Prepare surgical case carts
• Follow strict infection prevention standards

Required Qualifications

• Sterile Processing / SPD / Central Sterile experience (required)
• CRCST or CSPDT certification (required)
• Detail-oriented, dependable, team-focused
