Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Sterility Assurance professional to support testing and quality processes for medical device sterility. The role involves applying technical skills to complex systems and ensuring products meet quality standards through routine testing and monitoring.

The position emphasizes accuracy, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to operate under supervision while maintaining licenses and certifications relevant to quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, required.
• Bachelor's degree in microbiology or related discipline, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working on product quality testing and issues where technical skills are applied to complex systems and difficult technologies require broad skills
• Performs routine testing related to product release and job duties listed in the job description (i.e. component bioburden testing, product bioburden testing, environmental monitoring of controlled environments, biological indicator sterility testing, product sterility testing, spore assays, BI population assays, bacterial endotoxin test, microbial limit test, etc.). Preparation of media and reagents.
