Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma and approved OR course for surgical technologist.
• CPR Certification (required).
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and sterility of work area, equipment, and instruments per department procedures.
• Operates equipment used for instrument sterilization and ensures proper functioning.
• Monitors sterilization equipment daily and keeps records of all tests.
• Compiles and maintains documentation for items received and processed.
• Organizes own work to complete tasks timely and efficiently.
• Inventory management of supplies and reorders as needed.
• Transports instrument carts to designated locations.
• Maintains sterile area and checks expiry dates on supplies.
