Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to receive, clean, sterilize and store surgical instruments and equipment. You will perform quality assurance testing and ensure proper handling of bio-hazardous waste in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Evening shift is available, with caregiving through the hospital's central sterile processing team.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred.
• Central Sterile Processing training program preferred.
• Requires critical thinking, effective communications, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision.

Summary:

Receives, cleans, sterilizes and stores surgical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Properly disposes of bio-hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and supplies.Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspections.Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and substances.

Other Information: Successful completion of a recognized training program in Central Sterile Processing preferred.
