Job summary
Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician. This Per Diem position offers 8-hour evening shifts at a Magnet-designated facility with strong nursing support and comprehensive benefits.
The role involves cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing instruments, operating department machinery, and handling supplies while using a computer and phones. Prior SPD experience is preferred; certification within 1 year is required.
Qualifications
- Certification as a sterile processing technician within 1 year of hire.
- Experience as SPD tech is preferred (2 years).
- NCSRT or CSPDT certification within 1 year of hire.

- National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire, Or
- National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.
