Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the Richmond Health Source Shared Services. The role involves cleaning, testing, and processing patient care equipment per policy; ensuring sterility and infection control in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities include inventory management, documentation, and on-call readiness; requires a high school diploma or GED and CRCST/HSPA/CBSPD certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certification(s) CRCST/HSPA/CBSPD are required.
• Recent experience in surgical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs decontamination and processing of surgical instrumentation per policies.
• Inventories, stocks and delivers supplies and maintains proper inventory levels.
• Documents quality assurance and infection control standards.
• Operates sterilizers and ensures sterilization indicators and integrators.
• Identifies surgical instrumentation and ensures proper assembly/disassembly.
• On‑call Availability as scheduled.
