Job summary

Cone Health in Greensboro, NC is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician I to decontaminate, assemble and sterilize medical instruments in accordance with safety standards and patient care requirements.

You will support the sterile processing team with disassembly, packaging, washing, and high-level disinfection, ensure proper equipment function, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality assurance and infection control across the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble and sterilize instruments per safety standards.
• Disassemble, package, and sterilize as needed; monitor instrument function.
• Support QA, maintain records and contribute to infection control efforts.
