Surgery Partners, Inc. in Bakersfield, CA seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to care for and prepare surgical instruments and supplies. This role maintains inventory by checking supplies and equipment and orders area supplies. It also tests sterilizers and keeps accurate records. 8 hour shifts; prior experience required.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a certified sterile processing certificate, and current BLS, with knowledge of aseptic technique and safety procedures.
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the care and preparation of surgical instruments and supplies. The technician maintains established inventory levels by checking supplies and equipment. Orders supplies for the area. The technician performs the appropriate testing of all sterilizers and keeps accurate records.
This position is 8 hour shifts - Experience required.
