Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Central Sterile Processing or Surgical Tech program required.
• CRCST, CSPDT, CST or BLS certification preferred.
• Surgical or Central Sterile Processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, wraps, sterilizes, stores, and distributes equipment and supplies.
• Ensures adequate equipment and supplies are available to complete requests.
• Transports instruments and supplies, delivering items to units safely and promptly.
• Maintains logs and records of processed items and shipments.
• Operates and maintains sterilizers and processing equipment.
• Adheres to infection control and universal PPE protocols.
