Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Tech III in Sterile Processing responsible for ensuring safe and efficient sterilization of pediatric surgical instruments. This role involves decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and monitoring of processes to uphold patient safety and infection prevention best practices.

The position requires operating washers and sterilizers, maintaining tracking systems, and adhering to The Joint Commission and AAMI standards while supporting OR teams

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of sterile processing procedures, equipment operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards applicable to sterile processing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support team efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize a variety of surgical tools.
  • Operate and troubleshoot washers, sterilizers, and tracking systems.
  • Perform biological and chemical monitoring and reporting as required by standards.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards such as The Joint Commission and AAMI.
  • Support OR and procedural areas and mentor junior technicians.

Role: Tech III, Sterile Processing, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient sterilization of surgical instruments for pediatric procedures.
