Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital in Utah is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to disassemble, clean, decontaminate and sterilize instruments across Level 1–3 responsibilities. The role includes inventory management, equipment handling, and communicating with hospital staff and vendors to ensure sterile supplies are available when needed.

Eligibility includes Central Processing Certification within one year for Level 1, with more advanced certification required for Level

Qualifications

• Must attain Central Processing Certification from HSPA within one year.
• Level 2-3 require HSPA certification and ongoing competency validation.
• Experience with sterile processing procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, decontaminate, and disinfect surgical instruments.
• Identify, assemble, wrap, label and sterilize instruments.
• Print needs lists and issue sterile supplies to hospital areas.
• Perform basic inventory duties and communicate with providers and vendors.
