Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the surgery service lines by decontaminating, disinfecting, cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging supplies and instruments in accordance with guidelines.
The role includes documenting processing steps and verifying equipment functionality, including autoclave testing, while maintaining proper storage and transport of sterile items.
The Sterile Processing Technician supports the surgery service lines to decontaminate, disinfect, clean, sterilize, and/or appropriately package supplies, instruments, and equipment according to manufacturer's and regulatory guidelines as well as maintains proper documentation of such. Additionally, the Sterile Processing Technician will regularly perform testing in order to ensure proper functionality of equipment utilized in daily processing duties. IAHCSMM certification preferred but not required. The Sterile Processing Technician supports the surgery service lines.
Shift: 10:30am - 7pm
