Job summary

The Surgery Center at Jensen Beach is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech (PRN) to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and to prepare supplies for surgery cases. This role requires certification as a Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
