Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking a part-time Sterile Processing Tech to decontaminate, clean, and sterilize instruments. You will assemble and package tools and manage storage and distribution of supplies. Trainee pathways and on-the-job training are available to develop essential skills.

You’ll gain exposure to infection control, quality, and the full sterile processing lifecycle while contributing to patient safety and clinical efficiency in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved sterile processing or surgical tech program.
• Or 1+ year of sterile processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and clean medical instruments.
• Perform sterilization processes.
• Assemble and package surgical instruments.
• Manage storage and distribution of supplies and equipment.
