Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support sterile/reusable supplies and surgical instrumentation.

You will follow centralized procedures, maintain clean work areas and participate in quality control while complying with regulatory guidelines. Shift: Thursday–Sunday, 5:00 pm–3:30 am.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED and Sterile Processing certification; experience preferred but not required.

Competenze

• Environmental sterility and safety fundamentals are demonstrated
• Maintain equipment and ensure adequate parts inventory
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and processing procedures
• Inventory control within the sterile processing department
• Certified sterilization technicians are preferred

• Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
• Cleans and decontaminates supplies and equipment per policies.
• Performs and documents quality control activities.
• Receives and inventories supplies, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Prepares instrumentation and equipment for sterilization following procedures.
• Operates departmental equipment safely and effectively.
• Assembles instrumentation according to procedures.
