Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of sterile processing experience OR graduation from an accredited sterile processing program and eligible to sit for certification.
• Certification through IAHSCMM or CBSPD required within one year of hire.
• Knowledge of sterilization modalities and processing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sterile processing duties including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and storage.
• Support operating room team with instrument processing.
• Maintain inventory and tracking of processed supplies.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, AAMI, IAHSCMM and other standards.
