Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Sterile Processing Technician II for 40-hour nights at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, located at 2014 Washington Street. The role covers disassembly, cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and monthly quality monitoring across ORs, Maternity, ED, and more.

Strong EPIC/CSIQ experience preferred, with practical knowledge of endoscope processing. Requirements include a high school diploma, Central Processing Technology course, and at least two years of sterile processing

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of Central Processing Technology Course required.
At least two years sterile processing experience required.
Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or CSPDT or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Disassemble, clean, disinfect, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize and distribute sterile instruments and supplies.
Process flexible endoscopes; perform leak tests and ensure cleanliness.
Inspect instruments for cleanliness and proper functioning.
Assemble surgical instruments and kits using provided information.
Wrap and prepare loads for sterilization; manage documentation and monitoring of sterilizers.
