The Sterile Processing Tech II, under the direction of the Manager of SPD, Coordinator SPD or authorized designee is responsible for decontaminating, cleaning, packing sterilizing, assembling and storage of equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques.
High School education or equivalent. Must have Sterile Processing Department Certification (CSPDT)
Prior SPD and/or Surgery experience preferred, but not essential.
Understanding of instructions and underlying principles regarding the procedures and techniques of processing.
