Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health System in Lutherville, MD is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to inspect, clean, assemble and sterilize surgical instrument sets for the day shift.

You will operate cleaning and sterilization equipment, prepare supplies for steam and low-temperature sterilization, and meet CBSPD or HSPA certification requirements. A high school diploma and at least two years of instrument processing experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years instrument processing experience at a proficient level.
• CSPDT or CRCST certification required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, cleans, assembles and sterilizes surgical instrument sets.
• Operates cleaning and sterilization equipment for steam and low temperature sterilization.
