Job summary

EXALTA is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician I to ensure the safety and effectiveness of surgical instruments in manufacturing and healthcare settings. This role handles cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization while meeting quality standards.

You will work with manufacturing and QA teams, maintain accurate processing records, and follow infection control policies. The position is first shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with safety standards and PPE.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols accurately.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and decontamination of surgical instruments and devices.
• Inspect for damage, wear, and cleanliness prior to sterilization.
• Assemble instrument sets and prepare for sterilization.
• Operate autoclaves and document sterilization cycles.
• Maintain records of instrument processing and follow policies.
