Job summary

LifeBridge Health is seeking a SPD Tech I at Carroll Hospital in Westminster, MD. The role involves maintaining workflow in sterile processing, decontaminating and preparing surgical instruments, and assembling case carts to support surgical services.

Responsibilities include processing instruments per current techniques and obtaining Storeroom supplies when covering the Storeroom for the Distribution Department.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.
• Previous processing of surgical instruments in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workflow while operating washer and decontaminating instrumentation.
• Process surgical instruments, prepare and pack them, and assemble surgical case carts.
• Obtain Storeroom supplies and distribute them to areas in need during Storeroom coverage.
