Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Decontamination: sort, disassemble, decontaminate, rinse and disinfect instruments and devices.
• Preparing instruments: assemble, wrap, label and inspect for cleanliness.
• Sterilization: select and monitor sterilization methods and document loads.
• Transportation and storage: handle, transport and track sterile supplies.
• Inventory control: order, receive, stock, rotate and monitor usage.
• Environmental standards: maintain a clean, safe work area and report hazards.
• Other duties: assist with training and safety compliance as needed.
