Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Skokie facility seeks a Sterile Processing Tech for the Evening shift. The role supports the Sterile Processing Department with decontamination, assembly, packaging and sterilization of surgical instruments for hospital and affiliate sites.

Hours are 2:00pm–10:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Education required is GED/High School, and CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification is strongly preferred along with 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• GED/High School equivalent required.
• CBSPD certification or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or OR instrumentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide sterile processed materials and equipment to hospital and affiliated facilities.
• Execute decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and case cart setup procedures with quality control.
• Label and distribute sterile items accurately to departments.
