Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to help ensure sterile instruments and supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized and ready for daily surgeries. You will monitor cycles, document results, and prepare instrument trays in coordination with the nursing and surgical teams.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and collaboration with operating room staff to support efficient, high-quality care across our Bay Area facilities.

Qualifications

• Enrollment or Completion of Sterile Processing Tech program preferred.
• High School Graduate / GED.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
• Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care
• Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
• Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
• Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries
