Job summary

BrothersTech in Richmond, VA is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a 3 Months Contract to Permanent position. The role includes processing instruments, assembling and packaging, and maintaining strict quality and infection-control standards.

Shift options include 2nd shift (B) 2pm-10:30pm and 3rd shift (A) 11pm-7:30am. Requires at least 2 years of Sterile Processing experience and CRCST/CSPDT certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sterile Processing Technician experience.
• CRCST/CSPDT License or certification.

Responsibilities

• Instrument Processing Mastery: transform used medical instruments to sterile, safe condition.
• Assembly and Packaging: prepare instrument sets for procedures with precision.
• Quality Control Vigilance: conduct checks to meet high sterilization standards.
• Inventory Management Acumen: track and manage instrument inventory for readiness.
• Safety and Infection Control Champion: uphold infection control and PPE protocols.
• Documentation Diligence: maintain accurate sterilization records.
• Equipment Maintenance Expertise: ensure sterilization equipment is well maintained.
• Communication Conductor: coordinate with clients and team for information flow.
• Training and Education Pathfinder: share knowledge and mentor fellow technicians.
