LifeNet Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor for weekend coverage to lead PSD staff in sterilization and decontamination processes.

You will develop SOPs in line with GMP/GTP, AATB, and ISO standards, while managing quality issues and corrective actions. The role requires CRCST certification within 2 years and a track record in operations leadership.

Qualifications

  • 2 years supervisory/management experience (can include specialist, SME, lead or preceptor).
  • 4 years work experience.
  • CRCST certification or equivalent - must be obtained within 2 years of position start date.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee decontamination and sterilization while supervising PSD staff through performance appraisals, goal setting, and training support.
  • Develop, update, and enforce production policies and SOPs aligned with GMP/GTP, AATB, and AAMI/ISO standards.
  • Manage customer complaints, non-conformances, and internal errors by implementing corrective and preventive actions; oversee reporting and resolution of equipment malfunctions.
  • Utilize the Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM) to generate required reports and maintain inventory levels of instrumentation, equipment, and medical/surgical supplies.
  • Monitor PSD performance indicators and support departmental goal-setting.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This role ensures effective decontamination and equipment sterilization while supervising PSD staff through performance appraisals, goal setting, training support, and corrective actions. It develops, updates, and enforces production policies and SOPs aligned with GMP/GTP, AATB, and AAMI/ISO standards, and ensures sterilization quality control requirements and documentation are met. The position also manages customer complaints, non-conformances, and internal errors by implementing corrective and preventive actions; oversees reporting and resolution of equipment malfunctions; monitors and reports key PSD performance indicators; and supports departmental goal-setting. Additionally, it utilizes the Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM) to generate required reports and maintains adequate inventory levels of instrumentation, equipment, and medical/surgical supplies to ensure efficient department operations.

Pay Transparency Statement

The salary range displayed represents the national base salary range for this position and is provided in good faith to support pay transparency. For positions located in designated higher-cost labor markets, a geographic pay adjustment may apply above the posted range for eligible positions according to LifeNet Health's current policy. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Total compensation may also include bonuses, benefits, and other rewards that are not reflected in the posted salary range.
